Spiral mesh is made by linking coiled wire into a flat, flexible sheet. Unlike plain woven mesh, the individual strands are spirals, which gives the fabric depth and lets it stretch slightly in service.
Because the spirals can be set at different pitches, spiral mesh can be supplied from semi-open screening through to a densely textured surface. It is woven in stainless steel 304 and 316, aluminium and brass.
It is used for facade screening, ceiling cladding and interior features where a softer, more textile-like appearance is wanted. Supplied in panels or rolls to project dimensions.
