A fireplace mesh screen is a metal curtain or panel placed in front of an open fire. The mesh stops sparks and embers leaving the hearth while still letting radiant heat through.
Gecho supplies fireplace mesh in stainless steel and brass. Because these are metals rather than coated steel, the screen will not rust or burn off a finish at the temperatures of an open fire.
Screens are made to the fireplace opening, either as a fixed frame or as a curtain on a rod. Minimum order 10 m2.
