Stainless Steel Wire Rope Mesh: Unmatched Strength, Safety, and Design Versatility
Discover the ultimate solution for demanding architectural, safety, and industrial applications with our high-performance Stainless Steel Wire Rope Net. Engineered from premium 304 or 316-grade stainless steel, our nets combine exceptional tensile strength with superior corrosion resistance, offering a durable, low-maintenance, and visually elegant material for projects worldwide.
Built to Endure. Designed to Perform.
Our wire rope nets are meticulously crafted through a process of precise strand twisting and mechanical pressing of fittings, ensuring consistent mesh integrity and long-term structural reliability. This results in a product that excels where safety, longevity, and open aesthetics are paramount.

Key Features and Benefits
- Superior Strength & Safety: Designed with an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio, our nets provide reliable fall protection, rockfall barrier, and load-bearing capabilities for critical safety applications.
- Exceptional Durability: Made from high-quality stainless steel, the nets offer outstanding resistance to rust, corrosion, and UV exposure, ensuring a long service life even in harsh coastal or industrial environments.
- Open & Transparent Aesthetics: Maintains clear sightlines and allows light and air to pass through, making it ideal for applications where visibility, ventilation, and a non-obstructive feel are desired—without compromising on safety.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: The inherent flexibility of the net allows it to absorb dynamic loads and conform to complex architectural shapes, curves, and contours.
- Low Maintenance: Requires minimal upkeep compared to other barrier systems, retaining its functionality and appearance for years.

Wide-Ranging Applications
- Architectural & Building Facades: Interior and exterior mesh cladding, sunscreens, atrium barriers, and decorative design elements.
- Safety & Security Systems: Balcony fall protection nets, stair rail infill, bridge anti-throw barriers, rooftop safety barriers, and industrial walkway guardrails.
- Industrial & Infrastructure: Rockfall and avalanche protection nets, debris containment for mines and quarries, safety nets for stadiums and sports halls, and cargo securing nets.
- Marine & Aquaculture: Enclosures for aquaculture, safety netting on boats and docks, and protective barriers.

Frequently asked questions
What is stainless steel rope mesh?
It is a flexible net made from stainless steel wire rope, with the crossing points held by ferrules or by an interwoven sleeve. Because the cables are thin, the net reads almost as empty space while still carrying load — which is why it is used for balustrades, fall protection and animal enclosures.
What is the difference between ferruled and sleeveless mesh?
Ferruled mesh uses a metal ferrule at each crossing to lock the cables together. Sleeveless mesh (often called Webnet) is woven so the cables hold each other without ferrules. Sleeveless is more transparent and slightly softer in appearance, and it is the usual choice for zoo enclosures.
Which grade should I specify?
AISI 304 for normal inland conditions. AISI 316 where the mesh will see salt, chlorides or regular chemical cleaning — coastal facades, marine environments, pool areas and many animal enclosures.
Is it strong enough for fall protection?
Wire rope mesh is widely used as fall protection and balustrade infill, but that is a structural application and the loading must be confirmed for the specific span and fixing. Tell us the application and we will confirm the cable diameter and fixing needed.
Will it sag over time?
Correctly tensioned stainless steel cable does not stretch appreciably in service. Sag usually comes from inadequate tensioning at installation or from fixings that were not designed for the load, which is why the fixing detail matters as much as the mesh.
What sizes can you produce?
Panels are made to your opening rather than cut from stock, so there is no standard module to work around. Send the opening sizes and the fixing points and we will set out the panel breakdown.
